Greenvolt and T-Mobile Polska established an agreement for the supply of long-term renewable energy (PPA – Power Purchase Agreement) with a duration of 15 years. The supply to one of the largest telecom operators in Poland will allocate 98 MW of the installed capacity.

The green energy will be supplied to T-Mobile Polska from the first quarter of 2023 onwards through Augusta Energy, a joint venture between KGAL, a German asset manager, and V-Ridium Power, a company operating in the Polish market, 100% owned by Greenvolt.

The clean energy that will be supplied to T-Mobile Polska is equivalent to the average annual consumption of 66,000 families. It will avoid the emission of 145 thousand tons of CO2 per year, thus helping the telecommunications operator to achieve its sustainability goals.

For João Manso Neto, CEO of Greenvolt, “this agreement with the T-Mobile Polska in Poland reinforces Greenvolt’s position as a reference operator in the development and operation of renewable energy projects in Europe, as well as its ability to respond with tailored solutions to the needs of its customers and helping them to achieve their decarbonization goals”.
