• Greenvolt Group reinforces its presence in France with the official launch of Greenvolt Next France at the BePositive Fair in Lyon, marking a significant step into the decentralized renewable energy in this market.
  • Greenvolt Next France aims to empower French businesses and municipalities with clean energy solutions, leveraging international expertise and local knowledge. The company proposes new ways of generating and consuming electricity through tailored solutions for photovoltaic systems (roofs, ground, carports), solar storage, electric mobility, and collective self-consumption, helping clients lower their electricity costs, reduce dependency on the grid and meet decarbonization goals.
  • With an ambitious goal of installing 100 MW of capacity by 2027, Greenvolt Next France will be backed by a planned investment of 70 million euros, generating up to 100 direct and indirect jobs.
  • The company aims to drive innovation in key sectors such as cold logistics, commercial and industrial enterprises, retail centers, agricultural operations (agrivoltaism), public buildings, and real estate funds. In addition to its contribution to the energy transition, Greenvolt Next France will also strengthen the local economy by leveraging regional expertise and collaborating closely with skilled professionals and artisans, particularly in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

A strategic expansion into France

“France represents an important step in our European expansion strategy, particularly with the growing demand for decentralized energy solutions,” says João Manso Neto, CEO of Greenvolt Group. “Generating energy close to the point of consumption, making use of already built spaces, is a logical approach from a financial, environmental, and social perspective. With our extensive experience across Europe, we are confident in the impact we will have on the French renewable energy sector and the market’s receptiveness”, added João Manso Neto.

Based in Lyon, Greenvolt Next France will serve as a hub for driving the adoption of distributed generation solutions across the country, offering financing solutions for each client’s unique needs.  Greenvolt Next France ensures full control over the development, installation, and maintenance of its projects, offering end-to-end solutions for businesses.

“We are aware that companies are facing high electricity costs, uncertainty and volatility in the energy market, while also being strongly motivated to decarbonize their operations in order to become compliant with recent legal impositions to solarize private and public surfaces. Decentralized generation (DG) can offer a solution that helps address these challenges, providing cost reduction and predictability, along with sustainably responsible management,” says Tiago Braga Cruz, Country Manager of Greenvolt Next France.
