Greenvolt, through its subsidiaries V-Ridium Solar 45 and V-Ridium Renewables, has reached an agreement for the purchase of a 45 MWp solar photovoltaic park in Romania, until now held by Samsung C&T Corporation, by LSG Building Solutions, and by Green Source Consulting. The operation values ??the park at around €83 million, as of today.
The energy produced in this park has stable revenues. Part of the energy is sold on the market, with another component of regulated revenue, through green certificates, which are valid until 2031. Most of these green certificates are contracted in euros with the German electric company EON.
“This purchase marks another step in the growth strategy defined by Greenvolt“, says João Manso Neto. “LIONS park reinforces our generation capacity from renewable sources, opening up a wide range of possibilities for the commercialization of this energy“, adds the CEO of Greenvolt.
Greenvolt expects to optimize the financial return of this asset through the establishment of a potential bilateral agreement for the sale of unregulated electricity (PPA), the optimization of the operational management of the park, and the medium-term “repowering” potential of this asset.
