GreenVolt – Energias Renováveis, S.A. is proceeding with the construction of five more photovoltaic solar parks in Portugal. These projects will add, in the short term, an additional renewable energy generation capacity of around 70 MW.
At a time when it is important to diversify sources, but also to look for energy sources, GreenVolt decided to accelerate the development of Its projects in Portugal.
A total of five photovoltaic solar energy projects in the Center and South of Portugal are now under construction. In the short term, these parks will add 70 MW of energy generation capacity, taking advantage of the country’s strong solar Irradiation.
These new parks will join another that is already in production, the Cantanhede park, with around 18.000 solar panels, which has a capacity of 10 MW, being able to reach an estimated production of 16 GW per year.
