The capital increase of almost €100 million was fully subscribed, allowing Greenvolt to obtain the necessary funds to accelerate its growth.
Greenvolt – Energias Renováveis, S.A, has successfully completed the capital increase in the amount of almost €100 million. In an operation marked by strong demand from investors, the company obtained the total amount requested, a sum that will allow it to make investments more quickly, as well as be attentive to opportunities that arise in the development of the growth strategy in renewable energies.
Global demand for the 17,252,191 new Greenvolt shares amounted to around 186.8% of the offer, with current shareholders guaranteeing practically the entirety of the capital increase. With subscription rights alone, 97% of the 99.9 million euros requested from investors were guaranteed. Subscription orders for the remaining 540,385 new shares exceeded the total available by 29.6 times.
In this operation, Greenvolt placed each of the new shares at a value of 5.62 euros with Portuguese investors (41.95%), but also British (27.2%), North American (3.02%) and the remainder of Continental Europe (27.8%).
